(11,999 posts)...and we're supposed to be concerned about whether a known racist actually used racist slurs?

(63,221 posts)not just Mary. Also, it's a proven fact that his father was in the Klan. Are we really supposed to believe the White House when they refute these accusations?
There are so many examples from his tweets and speeches just over the past 3 1/2 years that prove how racist he is. And this was when he was supposed to be on his best behavior. Noel Cassler from "The Apprentice" confirms his racist tirades as well.
Even though he might not have come out and said the "N" word or the "K" word in any of his press conferences or rallies, his references make it very clear how he feels about those groups of people and other minorities. It's obvious to anyone who doesn't have their head up their ass.

But also from what we've seen and heard, he really doesn't seem to like or care about anybody - except himself, obviously. Americans are dying and he has no response at all, only thinks of what to do and say that he believes will directly benefit him. Who thinks that way during a national emergency, especially someone whose specific job is to make life better for the American people??
p.s. I finally had my second Shingles shot today and my arm really hurts.

(63,221 posts)But at least now you are done with it and you don't have to worry that you will ever have to deal with the dreaded shingles! It will be sore for a few days, but will go away soon. Good for you for taking care of it! Hope your summer is going well so far!

(206,676 posts)Not only did my arm hurt like hell, but I had chills, just could not get warm, fell asleep on the couch and had to drag myself to bed where I slept for most of the day. It was much tougher than the first shot when my arm just hurt. But you're right, that's over. We haven't thought about it as much in the middle of this pandemic, but from what I've heard, Shingles is pretty unbearable even if it doesn't kill you.
