It was just like that, but much longer. It went on for a half hour or longer.

The VA was trying to figure out if my problems were from severe PTSD and anxiety or brain damage.

BTW, notice the one thing about trump's claim that I haven't seen anyone else pick up on?

When did he go to Walter Reed "very recently"???

That wasn't in the news!

I was deemed totally and permanently disabled by the VA in 2015, I started collecting Social Security Disability (SSD) soon after that and a third retirement from my previous employer. Financially, I’m doing just fine. My wife left me two years ago and that has been the best thing in the world for me and my general stress level is drastically down.

I still suffer from severe PTSD and get hospitalized once or twice a year as a result, but that’s part of the course my life has taken me.

Oddly, considering the financial situation that’s developing, I couldn’t be more relieved to have absolute income stability. Aside from that, I’m very close to my children (9 and 11) and I get to be there for everything at school and drive them to various lessons and practices.

Disability is a trade-off. I’ve lost a lot in some areas of my life and gained a lot in others. I’d say I’m content with where I’m at in life.

I guess that is more information than you were looking for

It's how people react to adverse conditions that can make or break them. Sounds like you're meeting challenges with a good attitude!
