(3,818 posts)for almost 10 years - which includes ALL races along with all socio-economic backgrounds. It's impossible to establish a stereotype when there is not one available. AND it's hard to take people seriously about being all woke and shit when you turn around and do the same exact thing to white women and assume their names are Karen. It's racist as fuck.

(36,739 posts)My mother was a wonderful, caring person who passed away last year who would help anyone in need. Her funeral attendance amazed me. I never saw her behave like the stereotype that is being attached to her name in this site.
Her name was Karen.

(7,170 posts)but if you think the same thing about bubba. I'm absolutely positive your mom was awesome but this isn't about your mom at all. Calling someone a "Karen" in a racist situation is not saying all of Karen's are racist at all. Its a placeholder for female white entitlement, not for someone actually named Karen. Karen just happens to be a popular white female name. My actual name happens to be like the 3rd most popular name for males in christian countries. It embodies Christianity. My middle name even more so. It can be translated to "first man son of god". I'm an atheist. Those two names are placeholders. It doesn't define me at all. Its not in any way who I am. I am not the first man son of god. But yet there it is. Say my first name and middle name and that is what millions of people hear. It doesn't offend me. Anyone that knows me, knows me. Dont be so offended, its not about your mom, obviously.

(4,149 posts)Yet not once did she stop screaming obscenities which by then were beside the point, as she had already completely crossed the line. I hope she can be identified. Perhaps she already has, but I haven't read all of the responses. What a vile piece of work.
