Our host Stephen Colbert returns with "A Late Show," shot in the comfort of his home, and answers the question on everyone's mind: suit or no suit?

That's actually why I started posting the late night guys a few years back - since I figured that we could use the humor here. But now we really need all the humor we can get, so I'm grateful that they all have made what has to be a huge effort to resume original programming - and I get the impression that they're feeling as stir crazy as we are.

3. I think he said he lives in Phila

on one of his shows when he discussed his personal life. I wondered how he commuted to NYC each day or if he lived their during the week. He is a VERY private person, which I understand.

4. I looked him up and it said he lives in Montclair, New Jersey.

Though I don't know when that was written. And he has talked about his family, his wife once made an appearance on the show.

5. That makes more sense.

He said it on the show where he switched places with other Late Night TV show hosts like Conan. He introduced his wife in the audience once I seem to recall.

6. I think she came out on stage once and I can remember him introducing relatives in the audience

Though his most famous family member is his sister Elizabeth Colbert Busch who ran for Congress from South Carolina's first district - and lost to Mark Sanford.

Didn't he say a bunch of his family is GOP voters too? Some were in the audience.

8. I think they were his wife's family - so they're likely from SC

But Stephen Colbert himself has said he's a Democrat, as is his sister.

9. He was drinking on air big time the night

he hosted the 2016 election returns. He is 100% Dem...

I've wondered if each one of them has issues with alcohol. Jimmy Fallon is always having guests on who make drinks for him, Colbert is always offering alcoholic drinks to guests and Seth Meyers has this segment he calls "day drinking" in which he wanders around to bars with some guest that I absolutely can't stand to watch!

13. Well, the rest of the show was funnier

The Opening (which wasn't available till later) was spot on as usual - and his guest was John Oliver (also broadcasting from home) and it doesn't get better than that!
