(7,430 posts)If he outs himself, he won't have to worry about the collapse of the economy. But he'd be in good company if, before he sees that light at the end of the tunnel, he tells all of us that Trump's willful negligence is leading to the deaths of hundreds of thousands who are joining HIM to lessen the burden on the health care system (by dying).

(24 posts)I would actually love to encourage any dumb ass Trumper over the age of 50 who wants to go back to work to do so, because many would get sick, and some would die and this would accomplish several good things 1) the IQ of the US would increase, 2) Trump voters would be reduced for November, 3) the number of greedy bastards more concerned about an economy, and fear government money going to the common man over death itself could take a significant hit......except....and this would seem obvious now given the situation in New York, Detroit, Seattle and soon to be other cities.... If we do not maintain a rigorous quarantine, the bolus of sick people, including this idiot from Texas, that end up in their local hospital will cause the unnecessary and preventable infection and death of countless under paid and overworked ER doctors, nurses, orderlies etc.... Not to mention remove medical resources from those already in serious medical conditions unrelated to COVID 19. This will of course drive our health care system into a state of such dysfunction, that when we do emerge from this pandemic, we will see an increase in more unnecessary and preventable death related to COVID 19 only because idiots like the jackass from Texas perpetuated such damage to our health care system.
So let me attempt to explain this in terms the money grubbing, prosperity gospel following, "right to lifers" can understand. Do you remember the 2007-2008 crash induced by a glut of bad mortgages? The way we saved the banks was we instituted a program that in did little to protect any american from foreclosure but was successful at slowing the rate of foreclosure over time (insert her rate of infection) such that the banks balance sheets would not be swamped with garbage debt all at once (insert hospitals swamped with infected people beyond their capacity to provide even the most basic of care). So maybe if the idiot from Texas and his Trumper life lovers think of hospitals as banks and infected patients as bad mortgages, we can move past this stupidly and get about the business of making our country whole again.
