Medicare For All: It's about empathy, math, and morality

It is mathematically impossible for private insurance to be less expensive than a single-payer Medicare for All. Insurance must pay hundreds of executives, duplicative services like advertising, shareholders, and much more. And the evidence is that we pay more for healthcare than anyone else. The theory and the reality are in our faces, yet we allow lying corporatists and disingenuous politicians to screw us by taking our wealth. Besides that, it is about empathy, morality, and math.

A private insurer simply refusing to cover life saving treatment....so you just have to die. The devil we know is so bad, I'm more than willing to take a chance on something else.

If you have a magic wand and can make m4a happen, please do!!

The ACA was a great start, it’s an actual law..we need to move the gop out of the way and expand on it

included a public option, the purpose of which was to slowly strangle inefficient private insurance to death. Nothing wrong with that. If you can't compete, you die. That's how market economics works. I do love the irony. But insurance companies were more than well aware if this and pulled out all the stops to kill it. They succeeded to the detriment of all Americans, rich and poor.

The green-screen chromakey is executed poorly and it makes it look like this guy has HOLES in his head and you can see the background image through his eyes. Why does the speaker "hide" behind the microphone? Today's modern mics don't need to be 2-inches from the speaker's mouth. It could ACTUALLY be moved to about chest level and still work perfectly fine. How about a clip-on lapel mic? That would be a big improvement.

I mean, seriously now... there's a microphone right there... no need to shout. Unfortunately, the strong "P" and "S" sounds make the audio hiss and pop (and it's amplified too much anyway). Even the foam wind screen has limitations. The room-echo, chromakey errors, and audio goofs are really distracting.

Now after 5 years of Medicare I can tell you it is way better than BC/BS.
