I'm just relieved he's back after that long Christmas/New Year's hiatus! With all the breaking news coming up in the next couple of weeks, I don't think I could have stood it without Colbert at the end of each day to put it all in perspective!

The past several week ends have been hard to get through without the full host of late night comics. It takes all of them these days.

That New Friends clip is so funny, I have come back to watch a few times and it still makes me laugh hysterically. It all starts with the $500 headband and I can't breathe for the rest of the bit.

Now I can get horizontal for a while, have a good night, dear!

I used to tune in to see one guest or another, but now his brilliant monologues - not to mention the hysterical Openings - are the reason to tune into the show. I couldn't stand the news these days without Colbert to relieve my anxiety each night!

Have a great night and get some good rest, my friend! Colbert will be back with a new monologue tomorrow, no matter what gut-wrenching news the country has in store for us!

He picked a hell of a time to be off, but like I said earlier, it must have been repeats week since all the late night guys were off.

It's been so hard without them! We've been dealing with serious tension, we need laughs!

That CES bit is just unbelievably funny. I start laughing at the head set thing and the glue and I usually can't stop until the end.

Makes me laugh so hard it hurts!

But I agree about Stephen Colbert, even while making his political points, he has so many "bits" that are hysterically funny!

And I'm waiting for John Oliver to be uploaded. He was the only new show on this week!

I need to take a nap, I can't sleep more than a few hours at a time and I've been up all day.

I had that shingles prevention shot on Friday afternoon and was told it would cause "fatigue" and I slept most of yesterday. I'm better today as long as no one punches me in the arm!

Get some good rest, my friend!
