That was nearly 60 years ago and about 50 years after universal health care was originally proposed on the US

It may be hard but it will be rewarding. This is my party who held the house from 1949-1993.

Greed ain't good it's poison. Help yourself, what do you get? Fat, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and ya feel guilty and fall into despair.

Democrats! Don't listen to those fat cat donors!
Did you notice? Harris got soft on Heath care and lost support. Warren just did the same.

Become human while you're still able, stop all the unnecessary killing overseas. Hint (it's all unnecessary) our civilians have 300 million guns. We have two oceans between us and them. We can defend,,, everything but our endless greed.

Who's your daddy? Old man Potter? or George Baily the richest man in town?

But by that time his friend Ted Kennedy was running for the Democratic presidential election against him and offered up his own plan, as well. But Kennedy's plan was too expensive to be workable and that was the end of it. Carter said in his autobiography that it wold be decades before only parts of his original plan were enacted - and that was ACA.
