but, his comments are ludicrous and they prove that he knows nothing about the bible. Anyone who has even a passing familiarity with it can and WILL name passages that are inspirational to them. He's dodging the answer because he must. Anyone who can't see that is either oblivious or easily fooled.

9. Right, but we already knew that. He wasn't tricked. He admitted nothing.

Most of us already knew that he didn't have a clue about the bible, going back to at least "two corinthians." So the fact that he did his usual evasion (as he does on any subject that he knows nothing about) was to be expected. If he'd actually been tricked into admitting something, that would have been a surprise! Alas, it was just more of his usual nonsense. Not worth having to listen to his voice for.

It's "Reading the white spaces." Sometimes what people don't say reveals everything.

Again, all I'm saying is, he wasn't tricked, and he admitted nothing. IMO, it's a clickbait headline.

Somebody else wrote it. And it's more than one page long. Though it is about him. I'm still gonna go with, no, he never did.

Totally clear he's a liar. Real evangelicals (and little Marco Rubio on Twitter who tweets a verse a day) love to share the "good News" by quoting Bible verses until the cows come home.
