Good on her for calling this out. Shows how little he knows about voting. Like his remarks about people being bussed to multiple precincts to vote again and again. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED! And if you're not, you don't vote! If you insist, you might be given a provisional ballot, but it will be thrown out. Geez.

(25,817 posts)to vote and couldn't vote for him in the NYS primary? Granted, NYS has a stupidly early deadline, but still. It's not as though any of them had just turned 21 in time for the election. Apparently they are people who normally didn't bother to vote.

(9,895 posts)That film depicts Tammany Hall era New York elections as fraudulent affairs with grabbing ineligible voters and marching them in to vote then marching them out and shaving them partially and marching them back in to vote again and so forth...basically the exact behavior that Trump is constantly bloviating about.
The man is a tabula rasa every morning and evening...then whatever he watches fills his empty head for a few hours and if someone gets a mic in his face it simply pours out unfiltered.

(9,090 posts)for their election theft, and then it morphed into their pretext for passing voter ID and other suppression around the country.
the whole immigration issue is steeped in those lies about democrats getting them to vote democratic.
talk radio was the only major medium that could do that, allowing them to coordinate their lying at the local level, and it has worked because democrats have ignored it.
trump's whole political career was made with and depends on talk radio and on democrats not knowing how much his survival and hold over the GOP depends on democrats ignoring talk radio while it attacks them, his critics, his investigators, pollutes jury pools, intimidates GOP pols and media, and makes excuses for him
trump echoes team limbaugh and does anyone believe it doesn't matter that limbaugh will lead 1500 radio stations in echoing the trump lies to the base? what if the talk radio monopoly was destroyed with protests and boycotts before the next elections? it's the only advantage trump has, and yet it isn't even factored into the political calculations being made every day in MSM. the dem party doesn't even poll for it.

(9,090 posts)it. fox is the visual icing on the on talk radios lie turd pie. on fox they can't do the level of racism and lying and repetition without someone seeing it. they actually have to pretend to be 'balanced'. fox also can't be locally coordinated like those republican talk radio stations.
fox gets way too much 'credit'. as soon as talk radio is seriously challenged fox will fall apart

(10,104 posts)I dont pay attention to talk radio but there are people who do. Many people and businesses seem to be unwilling to just have quiet and always have something on. I used to carpool with a guy who listened to Rush. I just figured he was an isolated idiot, but there are very many just like him.

(12,849 posts)That should be the standard response from every Democrat when asked about Hair Twitler's latest assertion.
The above is not directed at the head of an independent agency like the FEC. Weintraub's statement was perfect.

(111,056 posts)So, if he loses the next election by ten million votes, it will be rigged.... because there were 16 million illegal votes in the last election. He is setting it up to discredit final votes if he loses by a landslide.
Each and EVERY LIE was called out to Trump, each and every single time he spoke, maybe the news cycle wouldn't include all of his lies, but the fact that each lie was being corrected all day long, each and every day. Now, that would make him really SWEAT!

In his reality he is the smartest, brainiest Uber human, Leader of the Free World, the defender of the Faith, the Leader of all Leaders.
Facts don't matter, consistency doesn't matter, nothing matters other than his self proclaimed superiority.
It is just that it doesn't match any one else's version of reality. But that has never stopped him in the past.

(25,817 posts)It didn't help that he seems to have had a dysfunctional childhood, nor that his dad gave him many millions of dollars to get started in life. As an adult he's been able to bulldoze his way through everything. It is obvious to the most casual observer that no one around him is willing to tell him he's wrong about anything. The utter lack of integrity is totally appalling.
Don't ever forget that he's a narcissist. They are very different from the likes of you and I.
