“It is well established that the investigation was not predicated on the Steele dossier, but rather on the observation of…” Nadler began.

“I don’t think I said that!” Jordan interrupted.

Nadler then banged his gavel.

“The gentleman does not have the time at the moment!” he said.

“I’m responding to what you just said,” Jordan replied.

“You’re not responding because I’m in the middle of saying something,” Nadler shot back, then banged his gavel again with an exasperated look on his face.

“The investigation was predicated on the incident with [former Trump campaign adviser] George Papadopoulos,” he said. “The Steele dossier, insofar as it was used in the application in the FISA court, the FISA court was informed in the memo that the information in the dossier was unreliable, it came from a source that was paid for by the Clinton campaign.”

did Mueller really coming to the conclusion that there was no conspiracy, no collusion with Russia? That's not what I've heard over the last few months except from the accused (i.e, the orange wart and his entourage of sycophants). This is pure republican framing to save their own asses.

Am I wrong? I don't want to do what they do. Did Mueller's report really find no evidence of collusion? Again, it's not what I've been hearing but there's Jordan using the old playbook standard of asserting this as if it were a foregone conclusion.

Republicans apparently feel entitled to speak without anyone questioning whether or not they are actually speaking the truth. Their stupid tricks are good for one thing for sure...giving me a headache.

They couldn't tie it all up in a conspiracy charge that would stick because documents, texts and emails were destroyed and the people involved continually lied to investigators.

Just some of the lies. They were thrown out there so quickly that the chairman couldn't catch them all.

Jordan's an ass.

Snake Oil salesman Jim Jordan is undoubtedly compromised by the Russians. 4 years of investigations into Benghazi, not one criminal referral, all to hurt Clinton's campaign. Two years of Trump investigations, multiple criminal convictions and Jordan can't find anything there except "crimes" by the "deep state." I'm betting Russia has compromat either from his time in Congress or at Ohio State. Either way, that grin on his face at the end says "I'm safe from Putin for another day."
