Whenever he needs a platform, he's always welcome on Colbert's show - after all, Colbert got his real start on Jon's Daily Show and you can tell that there's a genuine friendship there. And the Opening made me actually laugh out loud - both times that I watched it!

Though especially for Jon Stewart since he was very political, to the point of holding that D.C. rally. The timing of his departure from his Daily Show coincided with the advent of Trump and I'm sure that he has a lot more to say than he has - though he's fortunate to have Colbert since he's always welcome to use his show as a platform whenever he needs to. But I've missed his daily take on the news as well - BTW, I was lucky to have been in his studio audience back in 2008. He spoke with audience members before the show, nice guy, and he remembered that a lady in the audience asked him about the notes he uses - so he gave them to her after the show.

And even though he doesn't have his own show anymore, he has to know that he's welcome anytime on Colbert's anytime he needs a platform. The joke is that he's always under Colbert's desk, LOL.

As for the coughing Opening, I watched it more than once and burst out laughing every time, one of the funniest ever!
