Fear of Impeaching Donald Trump Could Put Democracy at Risk

Could impeaching Donald Trump lead to an increase in popularity for him like the impeachment of Bill Clinton, and if so should democrats wait until after the 2020 election to begin impeachment proceedings?

Impeachment itself could expose Donald Trump and his crimes, and could give congress even more information about the Mueller Report itself and other crimes not investigated so far.
