(25,486 posts)This one is from 2011 and is dedicated to the earthquake and tsunami victims from the disaster earlier that year. A choral group from Sendai participates on the screen. Most of the 10,000 are amateurs. The Ode to Joy is very popular in Japan and you hear it a lot from Christmas to the New Year's.
