He got uncharacteristically serious in the beginning - but that's not a surprise, he does take what's going on in this country quite seriously. I don't think he'd be nearly as effective if he didn't. And I think I mentioned that his show is going to be live on election night.

I remember when Jon Stewart said that a whole generation was now getting their news from a comedy show! We're even seeing clips from the late night comedians on the MSNBC news shows. And we sure need the humor these days more than ever!

I laugh out loud at him, but then I am overtaken by a sadness. What has this country descended into? tRump is unfit to ask "Would you like fries with that?" let alone be the leader of this country. The gop should be ashamed at the depths they have brought the WH to represent. I hope they think their tax breaks for the wealthy are worth destroying a once proud country for.

I know he's a comedian, but you can tell from the passion he uses to skewer Trump that he feels the same way that we do. It's somewhat reassuring to know we're not alone. But I sure agree with what you say. I am gobsmacked every single day with what is actually going on now in this country. We've had Republicans and Democrats and Whigs and Bull Moose(es?), but never in our history has there ever been anything like this - a "leader" not chosen by the majority of the people who actually doesn't care.

I am glad he started off a bit serious and didn't start right in with the comedy. This is how a normal man behaves. He does appropriate things at appropriate times. It was also good to hear him call Trump out on his blatant lying.

Thanks again for posting!

He really contributes to the humor, Joe has pointed out that he often responds with a funny musical reply!

And what happened with Lou Dobbs' hair??
