(51,585 posts)I remember the original March had trains, airlines and hotels scrambling to add more rooms, flights etc since so many people HAD to be there. I read that on one flight there was a sea of pink hats and the pilot somehow made the lights in the cabin pink in support.

(83,747 posts)The Supreme court struck down one of the toughest abortion laws in the history of this country 5/3. Cheers then.
Tears now that we lost our voice in the courts.

2019 is too late. If he gets on the court, the horse is out of the barn.

(51,585 posts)I attended an anti-Kavanaugh rally at the end of Aug (there were about 150 across the US) and hardly anyone showed up compared to the other protests I have attended. I was very disappointed with the low turnout among younger people especially. The problem is that too many people are apathetic and consumed with their own lives until it is too late. Tons of people have been crying out for a protest THIS week but where were they a month ago? It is very frustrating.

(9,865 posts)...they're happening. It's very hard and labor/time intensive to get the "march out".
I think people would come if they knew about it. Maybe the Parkland Teenagers need to do this march. They get things organized in a week!
