I found this very informative. How our corporate diet is killing us and the medical community is not really interested in prevention but curing illness, i.e. there is profit in the cure, less so in prevention.

....was how much sugar was added to baby formula. Not sure if that's the case now but with these republiCONS running everything, I'll bet it's just as bad today.

When I was a teacher the local school district voted to take Coke machines out of the high schools. Everyone thought they were so wonderful looking out for the students' health. Someone in the audience stood up and asked why not remove ALL sugary drinks and they couldn't respond and only answered, "There are fruit juices and bottled water". It turned out, after very little investigation, that Pepsi was allowed to stay in the machines since they were paying the School Board/district to do so. We were NOT surprised. Experienced teachers know that schools are a business. Period.
