The approaching mid-term elections may very well be the most important elections EVER for our country. If Americans don't go to the polls and completely reject the Trumpublican party, our democracy may well be dead already. Americans must come forward, voting in record numbers, to roundly reject the GOP's push for authoritarianism.

I have a great deal of apprehension about the coming mid-terms. Everything is on the line. If Americans fail in their duty to reject the Orange Shit Stain I will leave this country and never return. That is the solemn promise I make for myself, my children, my grandchildren, and for all Americans who will be on the receiving end of Trump's authoritarian rule.

and don’t expect to be welcomed. I am trying to be optimistic but I also prepare myself emotionally for the worst because I beleive the most important election in the US history was in 2016 and we live in a different country already.

This is the Republican party in a nutshell. On one hand you have Rush Limbaugh, who begat Glenn Beck, who begat Alex Jones, who begat Qanon. Combine that with the religious aspect and you have Pat Robertson, who begat Ralph Reed, who begat Jerry Falwell, who begat Jerry Falwell Jr, who begat batshit crazy people like Theodore Shoebat, Mark Taylor, and Dave Daubenmire. Combine both of these groups and you've got a perfect storm of shit. That is the real storm here.

I've been hearing woeful commentary on radio and TV about how "the public" is not as bothered by much of Trump's fascist b.s. as before and that when combined with the unemployment ratings it will have a telling effect on voter turnout in November. The message, if you will, is "Dems, you're going to lose because voters just won't care enough to vote for you." But I think -- and hope -- it translates into "OMFG, I better vote Dems into office or the s.o.b. and his feckless vagina [is it OK to caller her that?] of a daughter will stay in power and continue ruling with their army of re-elected little nematoads in the House and Senate."

The more we think the demise of the traitorous GOP in November is a sure thing, the more complacent we become, and the more complacent we become, the better the chances of the GOP. Be frightened people! Be very frightened!
