And did you recognize the voice of the guy in the "courtroom?" My housemate did and pointed it out - it was Bob from "Bob's Burgers!"

4. Were you as disgusted as I was?

I had no fucking idea that people were not given legal representation, and if that wasn't bad enough, fucking CHILDREN having to "represent" themselves?! WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK! If I could have reached through the TV and grabbed that asshole judge who said he could "teach immigration law to 3 and 4 year olds", I would have shaken him until he vibrated into another dimension!

5. Just hearing about this kind of thing not only angers me, but actually makes me feel sick and scared

There was that one young girl who feared for her life and those of her family if she was deported - and the man who knew he would be killed, and was six months later! What has our "nation of immigrants" become when we not only fail to offer sanctuary, but instead send people to certain death???

And, as I've often said, we all come from immigrants! Most of my family doesn't come from that far back - would my grandparents or great grandparents be welcome here today??
