the kids are suing... give them room, support in whatever way we can and let them run (literally and figuratively)...

The Trump administration cannot short circuit a federal climate change lawsuit brought by a group of 21 children and teenagers

"We're looking forward to putting the federal government on trial on climate science and its dangerous fossil fuel policies," said Julia Olson, the lead attorney for the young plaintiffs and chief counsel of Our Children's Trust.

but I am very excited about this lawsuit... this Earth is the one and only Earth we have and Kids deserve a future on it... I have been speaking out about abuse of the environment for almost 50 years... I haven't accomplished much and I am now hoping the kids can

"...Our posturing, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.
It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”

Oh boy did Black get that so right!! MSP survivors are showing the way and I absolutely adore those kids for taking a stand. Too bad so many adults are so complicit in these students friends deaths. Sickening.

12. Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changing" comes to mind

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.
