So.....why didn't you? I'll never understand why he didn't fight the people who called for his resignation. Why didn't you defend your reputation, Al? He was too good of a Senator to let himself be railroaded out of office by a few big-mouthed Democrats who wanted the PC headlines.

7. I think he is being cautious. He said he had a different interpretation

than the first few accusers. I don't know what his opinion is of the last accusers. Better to err on the side of caution so you can live with yourself. You gotta take ownership of everything on your side of the street.
