I'd love to see it aired on broadcast TV. Sometimes it's hard to digest how much we all exist in our own little bubbles.

And after watching AM Joy this morning this just adds to my growing terror. I say this in all seriousness.

Corporate support. Tyrants are seldom able to turn their elected office into a dictatorship without massive corporate backing and approval.

This was the case with Hitler, Mussolini, and Marcos - as well as dictators who took power by force and were able to stay there for many years, such as Franco, Mobutu, Pinochet, Suharto, and the 1964-84 Brazilian regimes, among others.

Control is achieved by corrupting people with money. Once you have bribed them, you own them, you control them, they obey or they go down.

Then, with enough people corrupted, you are immune to being taken down by your own party, you all sink or swim together.

Temer's next-door buddy, Macri (whose dealings in Brazil Temer is covering up for), is doing the same in Argentina.

They're now about to cut pensions, disability, and family assistance by 8.5%. It saves $6 billion a year - which they then turn around and mostly give back to the wealthy as (another) $4 billion tax cut.

The protests were so massive yesterday, they ran out of rubber bullets and tear gas.
