(81,220 posts)After all, he's slammed our rallies and marches, he and his bots all claim we're paid protesters. And WE'RE not. But it's because that is all HE knows. He paid people to show up at his campaign launch, "Escalator Day." They were paid to be there, take up space, and cheer. I'd guess most, if not all, of his rallies are like that. Just put your thumb on the scale, any way you can. To rig the game. Remember how often he said that? Everybody took it to mean that he was accusing somebody else of doing that. HE was just admitting, covertly, to his own doing. And since he does that routinely, and that's obviously one of the tools in his bag of tricks, he figures everybody else plays that same way.
Hillary didn't have to pay people to show up, for the sake of a useful photo op. Neither did President Obama.

(1,068 posts)First Maraya I want to give you a big handshake for posting this. All of that time while he was saying that the crowd had to be "packed in". That is a nice packing job. Just a lying jerk.

(9,760 posts)If Drumpf had come right after Shrub, his election would still have been a major embarrassment, an utter travesty, a great failing, but after Obama, Drumpf's shortcomings--as a leader and as a man--are grotesquely magnified.

Like one GOP'er recently said: "Trump's an asshole. But he's our asshole."
Hey! There is something seriously wrong with your asshole!!

(65,336 posts)small turnout. Would he have been so upset and would he have fired the guy over turnout if there had really been 15,000 people there?

But according to Bloomberg, Trump was actually very upset by the beautiful turnout so much so that hes fired George Gigicos. Or rather, he had top security aide Keith Schiller tell Gigicos that hell never manage a Trump rally again, because Trump doesnt actually like to fire people.
Gigicos organized Trumps rallies during the campaign, and he served as White House director of scheduling and advance until last month, when he quit to return to his consulting business. He organized the Phoenix event as a contractor to the Republican National Committee.

I was just about to post this
Now we see why he was so pissed
