Someone introducing him when he wasn't as well known could easily make that mistake. I'd rather see a clip of Rmoney himself saying "I'm the CEO of Bain" sometime past Feb 1999. That would be a smoking gun the media could latch on to.

is missing from those filings. He lists Sankaty companies in Boston but that is not the same thing as the Bermuda company.
