... Monsanto has been suing farmers for reusing the seeds from their own crops. Now if a farmer buys into the bullshit and gets the GMO seeds, that comes with a contract stating that they can't do that. That's the farmer's decision. The problem is that the GMO crops cross-pollinate with heirloom varieties and Monsanto is going after the growers of the heirlooms because the GMO crops infected their seeds and show the DNA from the GMO crops.
Mexico has over 400 native varieties of maize. There are very few left that haven't been infected. If we lose our grains to man-made destruction, we lose our food. Not just the grains, but for those that eat meat, you can kiss that steak good-bye. The breakdown has already started. Monsanto has a double-whammy on farmers. Buy our "Round-Up Ready" seeds and then, well, crop dust Round-Up to suppress the weeds. The weeds are adapting. They had to have known that would happen and I'm sure they have the next generation of domination prepared.
