TYT: Bradley Manning - American Hero. Cenk Uygur on Fire at Occupy LA.

Private Bradley Manning has been imprisoned and tortured for challenging our government. The mainstream media have either ignored Manning or condemned him as a criminal, even though (or because) he did their job better than they do. At a speech to OccupyLA on July 14, 2012, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks explains why Manning should be considered an American hero, calls for his release, and explains the failure of the mainstream media in questioning power and authority.

not have been so silent about this. Otoh, I think a lot of people gave up on political forums in terms of accomplishing much and are active now in RL and on social media where there is little or no censorship regarding issues like Manning. And obviously the PTBs realize this and are demanding the personal information of people on Twitter eg, who follow Wikileaks and Bradley Manning. I follow both because they are news sites, but I guess that will put me on some list somewhere. Twitter to their credit has refused to comply with those demands.

At least news about Peyton Manning going to the Broncos didn't make it to the trending section.

As Peyton Manning, lol, can't say why that wouldn't be trending considering the importance of the subject !

where he submitted a manuscript for a novel about a plutocrat who ends up controlling the world because he purchased all the media. The publishers considered it too far-fetched to publish.

I wish I could find a reference or link to that account.
