(4 posts)Romney would have reminded her that she could have taken out a loan from her parents to take care of it. No problem!

(812 posts)Then I read all the hatred in the comments section from those who will be content to die alone and had an equal and opposite reaction.
I lost my best friend 3 years ago to lung cancer.
He made it through the first round only to succumb after being sent home to die.
I feel that the insurance company paid out all that they were going to and capped off his treatment after the first quarter million dollars failed to work.
I wish this on no one, something had to be done to bring the for profit death panels under control.
GObama!

(26,663 posts)Lost my best friend needlessly a year ago August. Completely treatable high blood pressure, but didn't want to go to Dr. because she still owed money and they made her feel bad. I would have given her anything, but she was too proud. She waited till her Medicare kicked in, then had a massive stroke. Medicare paid for her last week in intensive care while machines kept her alive. When you're my age you know more and more people like my friend... just hoping to hang on until medicare, and while they're waiting, simple knee surgery becomes a knee replacement, diabetes becomes kidney disease, and high blood pressure kills.

It's impossible to take seriously such criticisms. Whenever I look at the Obama Diary or other photo sites with Obama and his supporters (or "defenders" I see thousands of people who support this President, who it really means a lot to. People who really need him in their lives, not privileged people who can spout nonsense hateful stuff about Obama and his supporters.
It matters.

No Republican would do this. That's why Obama is everybody's President and Rmoney is nobody's President.
