They recognized from that start that he was a loser candidate. It is the republican voter that has resisted and will continue to resist.

And that's that these terrible mass shootings are by far the best advertising that there could ever be to boost gun sales - and it's totally free advertising at that - at least for the gun manufacturers and the NRA. Fear sells guns like nothing else, and I'm sure that there's a big spike in gun sales after every mass shooting. And there's no more chillingly clear example of putting profits over people in the USA today.
