The Tragedy of the Trump Corporate Media Campaign

Donald Trump has gotten a free pass from the corporate media from day one. They let him call in for telephone interviews – which didn’t happen with any other candidates. They’ve covered every speech and rally that they possibly could while ignoring everyone else. The corporate media loves Donald Trump because he puts eyeballs on the screens. They’ve given him almost $3 billion dollars in free coverage since he began his campaign.

And the reason they love him is because they created him. He’s their boy, and he’s generating massive ad revenues, so they’re going to keep pushing Trump as hard as they can.

America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, discusses this.

Hillary - if shes the nominee - is particularly bad with the media and can't effectively push back against Trumps attacks... Which will be multitudinous and effective.

Not sure what you don't get?

Hillary is notoriously bad with the media... And that's what her allies say... If it's her and Trump well.. Trump is a master at manipulating the media... Clinton is a master of damaging herself with the media. And she has - to quote Bloomberg - a "ready-made framework" to be attacked with - what with her endless scandals etc.

"Hillary Clinton is facing a convergence of controversies and questions, old and new, that are likely to drag through the Democratic nominating convention into the general election and offer Republicans a ready-made framework for attacks."

Plus she'll have to pay for most TV coverage... And Trump will get it for free... Ask everyone he beat in the primaries how that worked out for them.
