It has been said to have been stolen by Prescot Bush in 1918

When Geronimo died in 1909 he was buried in the vest of the Ponca Indian (Edward Le Clair Sr.), who is sitting on his left in the picture.
Geronimo died the year that Saul Alinsky and Jessica Tandy were born.
