(12,804 posts)I love the smell of fear from the Clinton camp and their top advocates. She supposedly has such a commanding lead in the polls that they need to take down Bernie 6+ months before the first caucus and primary.
And as long as they keep those pesky reporters away from Hillary, she won't make any public faux pas. Ah, the stench of oligarchy.

Edited to add; Trump is a vast left wing conspiracy

(219 posts)Now, my lovely fellow DU'ers, don't get your knickers in a twist that I am not a Bernie convert! Can't we just watch the GOP tear each other apart with the awesome knowledge that we have an incredible field of Democratic contenders?
I was a John Edwards supporter, then I went Hillary, then (after attending an incredible speech by President Obama) I supported Barack. At the moment, I am with Hillary, but it is early.
My dream is that Hillary picks a Gore as a running mate, just for maximum right-wing head explosions! And, oh please, let Trump run 3rd party!

(6,891 posts)like I should buy a ticket to watch this comedy. When someone like Teddy start spewing big numbers to support his position and Tweety doesn't challenge them, you need a fact checker.

(5,955 posts)Believe it or not, the biggest booster trying to get Elizabeth Warren to enter the 2016 Presidential race is Charles Krauthammer. Although, his motivations for wanting that are about as deep as applesauce on a plate.

(1,309 posts)However you should consider the billionaires have made a bigger investment in Hillary than in republican candidates. You should also understand that these same billionaires control main stream media and work closely with their political hack minions, Ted Cruz, Trump, Graham etc. to create the images they believe will allow them to manipulate the electorate.
The billionaires hate Bernie. He says bad things about them and they do not like it. He also supports changes to the status quo that would adversely affect their pocketbook. Of course O'Malley does this too, but Hillary does not because she is their best investment and would return their investment a hundred times over if elected.

(7,304 posts)The GOP is full of idiots. If they actually promoted Sanders it would just increase the number of moderate, not-batshit-crazy Republicans that are horrified by their choices giving Sen. Sanders and Gov. O'Malley a serious look. They're probably not going to vote for Sec. Clinton due to the 25 years of relentless attacks and smearing but I'm sure there are some that are considering her. Anyway, if this really was some RW conspiracy, I'm confident they'd screw it up and shoot themselves in the foot.
