Socialism DOES work-Jeremy Corbyn at the Oxford Union debating society

Posting this because Jeremy Corbyn, MP, the only left-wing candidate for the Labour Party leadership, is now(to the surprise of nearly everyone in the UK)running very strongly and may actually win the leadership later this fall.

war of WWII, when all of a sudden the working class became eminently employable 'at the sharp end'. Even Stalin all of a sudden became Uncle Joe, not that the wicked old beggar was pleased when he heard it.

With the return of a Labour Government and a disgraced Tory Party (very smitten with the fascist regimes prewar, and still protective of Franco and Salazar) still very fresh in the minds of the returning military, it soon did become 'a country fit for heroes' or a lot closer to to it than ever in the past.

The Tory backwoodsmen never gave up, of course, continuing to beaver away in the background their endless war of attrition, particularly via the media, and in combination with the growing cynicism of the successful Labour politicians, never anchored in Christianity, just using its values and ideas as a front, we inevitably ended up with NuLab(c), under one, Anthony Blair, who was said by Baroness Lady Cardboard to be her proudest achievement. Well, she did get a little help in that from MI5, who began to groom him in his university days. You go, Jeremy! (I don't mean go away).
