Most of our media (including my own small town's newspaper) is owned by a very few corporations.

Naturally, the media owned by mega-corporations reflects the views of the mega-corporations, which, surprise! are similar and in lockstep with one another.

2. Robert Parry is an American Hero

He not only exposed the Iran-Contra conspiracy (and we are still feeling the repercussions of this scandal today), he also broke the "October Surprise" story in which the Reagan campaign negotiated secretly with the Iran hostage takers to give his Presidential campaign an advantage over Carter. He has also been a prescient media critic as a result of his own experiences in breaking "unpopular" news stories that cut against the mainstream memes.

Please read Parry's books (published by small press) if you want to know what is going on behind the scenes. He has not achieved the Woodard and Bernstein level of fame, but he deserves to.
