Related: About this forumAndrea Tantaros and Sean Duffy: Liberals are using school snow days to strip religious holidays
When did schools start closing for these holidays? We never had Good Friday or Jewish holidays off. (The Jewish kids all were excused for not coming in on the high holidays, but the schools weren't closed.)

no snow days, we had the holidays off. If there were snow days, the holidays were used as make up days.
Here in Florida, we have the same deal. If there are no hurricane days, we have the holidays. If there are hurricane days, the holidays are gone.
In both cases, there were days that were alternative days in case of snow/hurricanes; however, if there were more snow/hurricane days than alternative days, the holidays were used for school days.
It's been like this for more than fifty years, so I don't see any plot to do away with "Christian/Jewish" holidays. I just see common sense.

Lots of long leg and high heels. Cleavage to spare, plenty of cascading hair. What was the topic again? Was I really supposed to listen?
