"We are Europe" destroyed: Terrorist bombs kills Ukraine celebrants of Maidan's 1 year anniversary

Ukraine's pro-EU government claimed that suspects arrested after Sunday's bombing in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv had received weapons instruction in Russia.

A spokesman for Ukraine's SBU security service, Markian Lubkivskiy, said four detained suspects had trained in the Russian city of Belgorod. Police said 15 people were also wounded when a device was thrown from a car into a crowd.

The blast shattered one in a series of rallies as pro-Western Ukrainians marked one year since Kyiv's Maidan square uprising that resulted in 100 deaths and the departure of pro-Moscow President Viktor Yanukovych.

European leaders attend rally

Sunday's "march of dignity" in Kyiv, led by Ukraine's current pro-EU President Petro Porosenko, included the Polish European Council President Donald Tusk, German President Joachim Gauck and President Dalia Grybauskaite of the EU Baltic nation of Lithuania (all pictured).

Joined by thousands of marchers, they walked past a memorial for those killed last year toward the square. Many demonstrators carried placards with the text "We are Europe."

1. The SBU is now headed by Yuri Michalchyshyn, a Svoboda leader (Neo-Nazi group)

You just can't make this stuff up. Simply amazing that we print what his organization claims.

This is the head of propaganda and analysis of the Ukraine Security Service. And you believe and propagate what they claim?

(Also, the new head of Kiev Police is Vadim Troyan, who was deputy commander of the neo-nazi Azov Regiment and active member of the neo-nazi paramilitary organization Patriot of Ukraine.)

From a the Guardian UK paper in 2012:
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/jun/02/euro-2012-antisemitic-football

Svoboda's leaders admire proto-Nazis such as Ernst Jünger, and are "understanding" of Goebbels. They speak of "purity of blood" and Ukraine as "one race, one nation, one fatherland".

"We are against diversity," says Yuri Michalchyshyn, the party's media-savvy young propagandist. "Ukraine is for Ukrainians." But the truth is Ukraine as a pure-blooded nation-state is more an idea than a historical fact.

No Kidding! This march was organized by Michalchyshyn

What the hell are people doing supporting and using reporting that comes from these guys?????

Amazing things are happening in Ukraine but instead of reporting the truth our media just parrots the propaganda line coming out of the country.

2. Report from 2012 that includes Michalchysh: "Ukraine's nationalist party embraces Nazi ideology"

It is all there in past journalism. So why is it that the press cannot report on these very serious components? It is bizarre.

Here is a 2012 story about Michalchysh

Ukraine's nationalist party embraces Nazi ideology

We consider tolerance a crime

The person organizing the demonstrations and making the firebrand speeches is Yuri Michalchyshyn. At 29, he is barely old enough to remember the bad old days when Ukraine was under Soviet rule. He speaks a romantic nationalist language rarely spoken by mainstream western politicians. "A nation is an organic thing, historically defined. A wave of passionate energy which unites past, present and future generations," Michalchyshn said, seated in the office of Iryna Sekh, his party's leader at the regional council. "The Ukrainian nation is the current territory of the Ukraine reinforced by language and recent history of social and national struggle."

Watch video from a torchlight march organized by Michalchyshyn below

3. You can't make this stuff up. Here is deputy chair of the parliament committee on law enforcement!

No kidding. Just amazing.

Igor Mosiychuk, In Parliament and deputy chair of the parliamentary committee on law enforcement

Igor Mosiychuk. Mosiychuk has a long past in neo-nazi organisations, having been part of the UNA-UNSO in the 1990s. The Ukrainian National Assembly – Ukrainian People’s Self-Defense was a violent fascist organisation which predates most contemporary far right organisations in Ukraine today. After the collapse of the UNA-UNSO in 1998, he joined the Social National Party of Ukraine, an openly neo-nazi organisation which later on in 2004 changed its name, toned down a bit its public rhetoric and became Svoboda. Mosiychuk then joined those who disagreed with the “moderate” turn of the SNPU to form the Social Nationalist Assembly, a hard line neo-nazi group. In 2011 he became a member of the executive of the SNA and acted as its press secretary. Mosiychuk spent time in jail as one of the defendants in the case of the Vasilokovsky terrorists. He was only released from jail after the victory of the Euromaidan. During the Euromaidan movement, the SNA was part of the violent Right Sector. After the victory of the Euromaidan the SNA went on to form

Where are the "Public Interest" stories about this guy? This is the kind of thing the MSM LOVES to report, but not a peep?

who let off bombs at a peaceful rally in support of Maidan? WTF?

+ you forget the link--to the obvious Russia puppet website where you got this cut and paste from
https://ukraineantifascistsolidarity.wordpress.com/2014/12/14/the-far-right-in-the-new-ukrainian-parliament/

Here they are mobbing the US embassy to protest "NATO's war"
https://ukraineantifascistsolidarity.wordpress.com/2015/02/19/london-protest-outside-us-embassy-stop-natos-war-in-ukraine-peace-for-donbass/

Yes, somehow, this "antifascist" website doesn't have a bad word to say about the most dangerous fascist in Eastern Europe, Putin: https://ukraineantifascistsolidarity.wordpress.com/?s=putin

BTW what does all this have to do with terrorists blowing up bombs at Ukraine's pro-Maidan, anti-Putin rally?

Fail, Newthinking, fail in obvious desperation that someone is posting something that makes Putin's Russia look like what it is--a fascist regime using the tools of terrorists.

Post a different story that doesn't highlight SBU reporting or stop moaning when someone calls out a serious issue with the story you post.
