Excuse?? Are you one of those CT's who think President Roosevelt LIHOP'd this? If you are, you have NO clue about WHO President Roosevelt was and what he loved and believed in. He LOVED the US Navy. He would NEVER put its ships and crews in harms way.

I guess that Roosevelt didn't want to get involved in WWII, because the vast amount of the citizenry was against WWII.
I guess that the US hadn't already broken the Japanese codes, and intercepted codes that told them of an oncoming attack.
