1. There is a school building in Fairmount, Indiana just like this.

It was James Dean's high school. People have tried for years to save it to no avail. It has now deteriorated to the point where razing is the only answer. There is an effort underway to save the stage proscenium where Dean did his acting back in 1949 and move it to a park.
