Peter DeFazio (D-OR) tries to stretch the little over $30 he gets to spend on food for the week

Ebenezer: Are there no prisons?
First Collector: Plenty of prisons.
Ebenezer: And the union workhouses - are they still in operation?
First Collector: They are. I wish I could say they were not.
Ebenezer: Oh, from what you said at first I was afraid that something had happened to stop them in their useful course. I'm very glad to hear it.
First Collector: I don't think you quite understand us, sir. A few of us are endeavoring to buy the poor some meat and drink, and means of warmth.
Ebenezer: Why?

Or, if SNAP is cut, $24.40.

DeFazio:

There's a lot things I think that members of Congress should do to get a little more in touch with reality. This is one of them.

Pete's my representative. I am continually proud of what he says and does. I sometimes disagree with him, but I never doubt his sincere motivations.

...after watching let's see how he gets those coupons in the month after his printer runs out of ink, or he loses internet accsess, or when his electric is shut off-all likely scenarios for long term recipients.
