VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/odonnell-to-glenn-greenwald-if-the-nsa-knows-everything-why-didnt-they-know-you-were-talking-to-snowden/
Lawrence ODonnell tonight expressed his skepticism with the seriousness of the NSA surveillance scandal, and brought on Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who broke many of the big stories in the national conversation right now. ODonnell asked Greenwald that if the NSA is really knows everything, why were they unable to detect that whistleblower Edward Snowden was in contact with Greenwald at all?

(8,514 posts)1. Even the Obama admin is calling it the worst leak in history.
Their squads are out looking for Snowden. What is it that you don't understand about that?

(36,974 posts)2. Yes, what he did was bad. An American has committed a crime against The USA.
He is a traitor to The USA.
And some folks are actually calling him a hero.
That is f'ing unbelievable to me

Then again, I'm not as smart as you about all this "traitor" business...

(297,935 posts)5. Did Greenwald accuse L O'D of using WH talking points
like he did Mika? thanks Tx
Yeah, I'll put this into context for you," Greenwald responded. "The White House talking points that you're using are completely misleading and false." Their exchange comes about ten minutes into the segment in the clip above.
Mika interrupted, "Uh no. Hey, Glenn, I'm not reading talking points. Glenn, I'd like to ask a question. Is this legal or illegal? Or Richard Haas, can you help me out here since Glenn doesn't want to answer the question? Is the law being broken here?"
Pig.
Sorry, I can't really watch him.
