"Facts should change your beliefs."

That would make a great bumper sticker!

I look forward to the movie.

I found various links, including the official website.

One comment from someone who saw the doc.

Unfortunately those who most need to see it never will see it. I am not a fan of Dawkins' aggressive atheism, but I am a fan of his advocacy of science particularly evolution. Dr. Krauss spoke last year at our Darwin Week activities.

The total eradication of organized religion should be a goal of every forward thinking human being. Spirituality or a reverence for the interconnectedness of nature and life is one thing...pretend drinking symbolic blood and pretend eating symbolic human flesh? megalomaniac deities wiping out entire civilizations on a whim? secret revelations that must be 'interpreted' by select men only?

Faith is not a gift, it is a diagnosis.
The cure is education and a better fundamental understanding of what is reality and what is mind control fantasy.

My children are being raised 100% absent any religious nonsense, and I trust that when they have children of their own that I will be in a position to influence that generation as well...if I am successful, along with the growing millions of other parents who are simply ignoring the religions of their youth, then in about 6-8 generations, we could finally be free of a religious majority.

I don't qualify myself as an "unbeliever" because I don't select "believing" as the default state, with me being in some strange status in relation to religion.

I don't give religion any more thought than the easter bunny, santa, the tooth fairy, or unicorns or fairies.

I don't think about it much at all. Why bother, when there are really interesting things to consider in the world?

But, because religion is by its very nature political, it will get attacked by right wing political forces.
