This is what a "Conservative Agenda" looks like. Are you willing to live under this?

https://signalpress.blogspot.com/2024/02/this-is-what-conservative-agenda-looks.html

In the third paragraph of the linked article, author Rick Pidcock, who was raised in fundamentalist Christianity, says this:

"In my two decades growing up in fundamentalist Christian institutions, the schools dictated to our families where we could go to church, how we were to dress, what music we were allowed to listen to or movies we could watch, even what coffee shops we could patronize. In short, they had complete authority over our family.

So imagine those people expanding their territory to include entire cities, states and countries."

Imagine, indeed.

Get a clear picture of what that would be like, because that is exactly what the part of the MAGA political movement that has emerged from within the Evangelical Christian segment of the American church is aiming to do.

When people like this tell you they are going to do something, when they get the power to do it, believe them. And then do everything you can to keep them from getting the power to do it.

"Here's a very simple way to prevent this from happening. Keep this, put it on your refrigerator, and remind yourself that you still have the power to stop this from happening to our country.

You must cast a ballot in the next presidential election.
Set aside all of your petty little issues, Biden's age which is a non-factor, your tendency toward hyper-progressivism or reserved moderate tendencies, and all of the side issues that are trendy to talk about but dangerous to vote for, and cast your ballot for Joe Biden. Not Jill Stein. Not RFK Junior. Not No Labels. Not some irrelevant distraction funded by Russia.
Vote ONLY for Joe Biden for President. No protest, no uncommitted. Joe gets your vote.
Do not fail to show up or make sure you drop your mail in ballot in the box in plenty of time for it to be counted. You must vote, and any vote that a Democrat or committed independent makes for anyone besides Biden will be a vote for Trump.
Vote STRAIGHT PARTY DEMOCRAT for down ballot races. Not third party, STRAIGHT PARTY DEMOCRAT.
Is that simple enough?"

Thats about as simple as it gets....

• Government dictates what you read, your religion and your private life. Period trackers mandatory, and report to the government.

• More welfare for the rich.

• Americans pitted against each other along lines of race, color, religion, gender, sexuality, and income. Vilification of blacks, Jews, Muslims, lgbtq+ , homeless, and women of strength, with increasing violence, even murder against them.

• Private health care companies deny needed treatments to save money. (Death panels are here!)

• The wealthy pay even less in taxes.

• Every civil right is eroded by clown judges living in the 18th century rewriting the constitution.

• Worker's rights and benefits reduced in order to create greater profits for businesses.

• Safety nets removed, so that homeless, and jobless people are left to die on the streets.

• More, more, more of culture war.

• GUNS, everywhere, with no limitations or requirements. Kids get them freely.

• Minorities and women blamed for every imaginable blip.

• Support of authoritarian regimes across the globe, who eagerly imprison, "re-educate", murder and commit atrocities on others.

• Lies, hate speech and threats are welcomed on "social media" and given support by government officials.

• Medical care and prescription drug costs skyrocket.

These fascist movements spring up over time.

They do because resentment and grievance are easy to invoke and stoke.

But hate is self-defeating over time, and our response to it can shorten that time.

Ultimately, the suckers are played as fools. The constant propaganda is the opium that keeps them from seeing it.

Good, caring people need to stick together, focus and strategize.

Eyes on the prize.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that even the majority of Repukes DON'T want this. Maybe a few are dumb and brainwashed enough to think it wouldn't be that bad, but they are outnumbered.

There are sensible people everywhere who can be convinced that a christo-fascist government would be a nightmare. We need to reach out and convince them that CHUMP is not the answer. Electing CHUMP would be such a huge mistake that even conservative religious people will eventually regret it. They need to see that before they vote for him.

Every sensible American regardless of party affiliation must be convinced that their vote is necessary this November.

All of this trendy political talk needs to get trashed. Jill Stein and RFK Jr. need to be effectively neutralized. They are 100% incapable of delivering on a single promise or issue, because the only role they play is spoiler, and their causes have a thousand times better chance of being picked up and included in a Democratic party agenda than they do under MAGA rule. I have a lot of respect and am compatible with a lot of the Green Party agenda, but let me tell you the truth, Jill Stein is telling you all you need to know about her lack of political understanding and comprehension by running for President, and the party leadership is shooting themselves in the foot.

If RFK Jr. can still string enough words together to form a coherent sentence four years from now, then let him have a shot at it. Right now, his family needs to gently but firmly pull him back home and help him get a sense of reality back. He has less of a chance of being elected President of the United States than Vladimir Putin does. So what his misguided run for office makes him is the proverbial fly in the ointment, and a Trump suck-up and lackey. Stein is the same thing.

We have to take this seriously, and Democrats have to learn how to fight this using all of the diversions, obfuscations and punches that Republicans pull.
