Trump under 'enormous financial strain' as new report reveals legal fees are 'staggering'

Story by Kathleen Culliton • 1h

Former President Donald Trump’s super PACs blew through $50 million inlegal fees as four criminal indictments crashed down on him last year, according to a new report.

“It is a staggering sum,” wrote New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Shane Goldmacher Tuesday. “Nikki Haley raised roughly the same amount of money across all her committees in the last year.”
The cash moved through several PACs: Make America Great, Save America and MAGA Inc. among them, according to the report.

A spokesperson for one of the PACs, Alex Pfeiffer, waved away the reported sum and told the Times his group raised about $120 million..........................................

Last week, a New York jury ordered Trump to pay E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million in her defamation case.

Judge Arthur Engoron’s decision on New York Attorney General Letitia James’ $370 million fraud lawsuit is expected to arrive this week.

Well, it is not like he has any intention of paying them, so what does he care?

I supported Hillary in 2015/16 when she ran and won the popular vote. But neither did she solicit more donations after the electoral college crowned Trump President nor did I write her PACs any further checks. I have to think the least financially capable are the ones who's bank accounts are getting drained. There has to be lots of "I supported Trump, but I am homeless now" stories out there....

Trump could just fly to Moscow and have a big publicity event where Putin hands him one of those giant checks for like a billion dollars, and then Trump flies back to Mar-a-Lago and all the MAGAs cheer and applaud.
