The good news is: there's time. If the numbers were tracking like this next August or September, I'd be VERY worries. But we have a year. The runway is L-O-N-G. We have TIME to build those polls back up and get our fellow Dems fired up to WIN. So let's DO it!

The country is not voting for Trump again. I've lost my parents in the last 5 years. I know what age can do to the elderly. Biden has done a tremendous job and I think the plan will be for him to get elected and then resign. He has been dealt some awful cards since he became president. I think If Trump were elected, he would pardon all the insurrectionist and they probably have a plan. The insurrectionist are some of the most dangerousTrump people out there and they probably will inflict harm. Our democracy is at stake. Is there not a viable candidate in this entire nation that could take the position? I know it's on the minds of Americans. I watched my parents decline from dementia. We have to consider this. Trump wants to inflict harm to anyone who disagrees with him. Just sharing an honest opinion.

Those Democratic constituencies that aren't polling well now aren't going to vote for Trump. And Biden does have the cash to use the ground game which pulls those groups together.

Of course, the NYT/Sienna poll missed their mid-term prediction by several points outside their margin of error, and missed 2020 outside of it as well. If I remember correctly, they predicted Trump would carry Wisconsin and MIchigan.

Then, too, there's the benefit that the media receives from creating a panic, called "ratings".

But I think Democrats need a wake-up call. We can't seem to get control of the narrative. Trump's screen time in the media exceeds Biden's by three to one, I'd bet, maybe more than that, and when has that ever happened in a presidential term in office? I don't know who is in charge at the DNC or white house to do something about that but that needs to change now.

And then, of course, if our justice department and courts work the way they should, Trump will be in prison before he can lay claim to the GOP nomination.
