Former President Donald Trump's final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with special counsel Jack Smith's team at least three times this year, including once before a federal grand jury, which came only after Smith granted Meadows immunity to testify under oath, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Marky Meds, youll recall, was one of the chief shit-stirrers in the whole Help Help My Election Was Stolen conspiracy, telling anyone who would listen all about how eLeCtIoN fRaUd wAs RaMpAnT and he had proof and it was all going to come out and that Donald Trump would be restored to the throne back in the White House.
he wrote a whole fucking book about it. well, it looks like Meadows is singing an entirely different tune to the grand jury.
Jack Smith was all so tell me about what it says in this book of yours and Meadows was like hey bro, what book? I told Trump like a million times that there was no election fraud. I said right to his face, man. literally one million times. if Trump thought the election was stolen, he sure didnt get it from me.

Is Tiedrich saying - that Tr**p (the rat here & everyone knowing who the rat is) shouldn't be ratted out by those most close to Tr**p that can verify that he's a rat - that they should keep it to themselves and let the rat - rat on?

(32,787 posts)Most of us on DU believe that MarkyMeds is just a guilty as Chump, when it comes to plotting the failed coup.
But it seems that he made a quick deal with Jack Smith - probably a year ago or as soon as Smith came on board with the DOJ investigation. So now Meadows is getting a sweet deal by ratting out Chump on the failed coup.
Why was Meadows so intent on getting the Georgia indictment switched to a federal court venue? It looks like he already had a deal lined up with Jack Smith. If the Georgia charges had been removed to federal court, maybe his plan was to avoid prison altogether? Hmmmm...
