Vos and Walker Throw 30,000 Off of BadgerCare to Make Room for Millionaire Donors Children

Madison – Back in 2011, Walker was hell-bent on kicking some 30,000 children off the BadgerCare program in time for Christmas. It turned out in March 2012 , that "only" 22,000 were to be cut off the vital program so that Walker's corporate donors see a little bit more in profit, without creating jobs.

Tonight we learn of this story being reported by WKOW:

The three children of a Columbus businessman, Michael Eisenga receive their health insurance through the state's plan for low-income families, BadgerCare, despite their father's estimated worth of $20 million. Although Eisenga feels entitled to take advantage of this social assistance program, he does not appear to feel obligated to pay his state taxes.Eisenga has a tax warrent listed on the Circuit Court (CCAP)database for $224,000 and is listed by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue $153,995.08 in tax delinquent on taxes. Dispite this he ALSO appears on Wisconsin Campaign finance records as contributing more than $28,000 to Governor Walker, Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch and the Republican Party since April 2010.

Many Wisconsinites have been forced off the rolls of BadgerCare because they cannot afford the increased premiums imposed upon them by Scott Walker and finance chair henchman Robin Vos. The premium hikes on the low income earners in the state were due to budget constraints, according to Scott Walker.

Kelley Albrecht, Democratic Candidate for Assembly (63rd District), mother of three and passionate advocate for quality health and education for Wisconsin's children, had the following statement:
"There are many small business owners, farmers and families in desperate need of healthcare options who are being denied access to Badgercare Plus as a result of my opponent's refusal to hear the pleas of the citizens most in need. Governor Walker removed the ability for citizens to be represented by their legislators, and handed over the decision making authority to the Joint Finance Committee. Under the leadership of Robin Vos and Alberta Darling, a program that was meant to help those who have no other healthcare options, giving the ability to purchase a plan from the state, has been decimated. This is just another way for those forwarding the agenda of Scott Walker to create a government no longer providing services to the tax payers, but corporate welfare for those most capable of carrying their own burden."
