No, Trump is not ordering the deaths of hundreds of thousand of Americans (that's where those numbers will go), but he is allowing it to happen, when he could have done otherwise.
We are well beyond bad policy or "mistakes were made" territory.
Goals:
Obey Putin.
Chaos.
Power.
Destruction.
And remember, he's a malignant narcissist. The deaths - the ones who've died as well as family, friends, and the currently sick - mean nothing to him. Nothing. They don't even rise to the level of pawns in a perverse game of chess. They are, to him, utterly without meaning.

The best world leader to compare Trump to is Nigerian despot Sani Abacha. Like Trump, Abacha's whole goal in life was to transfer the entire wealth of the nation to his personal bank account.
