Can we trust Trump to act in the interests of the United States -- ever?

“What did the president know, and when did he know it?” That evocative question was posed by House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) in a news conference Tuesday, speaking of reports that the intelligence community believes Russia has been offering bounties to Taliban-linked militants to kill U.S. personnel in Afghanistan.

The fact that this is even a question could only happen under this president. But the particular circumstances of this disturbing development raise another, perhaps even more important question: What if the president not only can’t be trusted to always do what is in the interests of the United States as any president should, but can never be trusted to do so? What if he only acts in America’s interests by coincidence, when those interests happen to line up with his own?

When the story about the Russian bounties broke on Friday, the White House insisted that Trump knew nothing about it, though they never denied that Russia may have done this. Yet within days, one report after another described how the information has been known — and sent his way — for some time.

The Associated Press reported that White House officials knew about the bounties in early 2019. CNN reported that the information was included in one of Trump’s “daily briefings on intelligence matters sometime in the spring.” The Post also reported that it was included in the president’s daily intelligence brief, or PDB.

We have a homicidal, genocidal stochastic terrorist in the White House demonstrating the fact that he can't and won't act on the nation's behalf.

He is getting ready to "kill" again and maybe even bring out his inner arsonist and start some fires, too. Strump is like the little girl from that movie, The Bad Seed.

This is situation is reminiscent of the Twilight Zone episode, It's a Good Life where the kid simply wishes people into the cornfield, (dead and buried), if you do even the slightest thing to upset him or disagree with him. And as President he has powers like that in a way.

I can appreciate asking the question, but the obvious and irrefutable answer is: NO! No way. Ain't going to happen. We need an extraction of this bad seed.

Before he was elected I was saying that he was going to divide the country to pay his bills and clean out Fort Knox as a bonus. Depending on how much he owed to which country would depend on which part of the country they got. In those cases where the money wasn't important then he would dole out our national defense secrets. China would get the South West, Putin would get the North East, North Korea would get the North West, Saudi would get Texas and the oil county, well you know where I was going.

What I did NOT expect was his the turning of a blind eye to the cross hairs on the back of our military.
I did NOT expect the GOP to be this yellow bellied. Greedy assholes yes, but to let the destruction of our county to such a degree, no.

I hope that bastard lives another 30 years with what remaining faculties he has. I hope he is so screwed, civilly, that all his properties belong to Fort Knox. I hope his three eldest and their partners get put in the slammer and all their properties belong to the treasury.

Obama's note should have said, "Before you take office, we will require a security deposit"

Even if coincidentally our interest might align with Turd's financial interests, he is required to hurt us, and he will.
