For most of modern political history, the Republican Party has used patriotism — an odd and obfuscating sentimentality — as a weapon to shame critics of American foreign policy, and turn the general public against dissidents who reject the folly of Empire maintenance through violence. Samuel Johnson’s excoriation — made famous by Bob Dylan — that “patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels” always seemed accurate in both its denunciation of the manipulative emotion itself, and also of those who take advantage of it for political expediency.

America has collapsed into a prone position, however, where the scoundrels are so brazen in their inhumanity, so bold in their indifference to suffering, and so barbaric in their refusal to compromise for the sake of their own country that only their own language can aptly describe them.

Nationalism, according to Trump, Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, purports to place “America First” in its policy orientation. Yet the lives of American citizens appear to rank last when dealing with the danger of gun violence and white extremism.

It is long past time that this message is shouted from every rooftop and on every street and at every town hall held by any politician the entire country!

1. They claim they want to make America great again,

Then give trillions to the wealthy with a tax scam bill. Rob million of Americans of their health care plans. Openly conspire with putin to help win their elections.Corrupt each agency with compromised people corrupt people, and liars who support loyalty to trump and putin over Americans. Fight against free speech , and the truth. Trash all EPA standards and working to make us like Flint is . They run up debt to pay off people with to only take more out of Social Security , Medicare , and Medicaid. They ignore the rule of law, and protect criminals, murderers, child molesters, and child sex ring promoters . They create policies designed to hurt our economy to further weaken us, while attacking our Democracy, then claim they want to make America great again? Give me a break. The lie over and over again while obstructing justice to prevent their being exposed as criminals , and abuse of their power. We have an illegitimate president installed by putin, and that's not making this country great at all. trump is putin's puppet. and the gop are compromised also. They will never make us great , they're selling us out.

that they worship the unrelenting greedy acquisition of money. They hate anything that stands in their way to acquire wealth by any means, legal or not. They will lie, cheat, steal, wage war, anything to fix it to get money.
