A little humor on Roger Stone's "Notice of Apology"
from a Slate article Dahlia Lithwick
Experts tell me that there is no such thing as a Notice of Apology. Alternet interviewed several longtime lawyers and came up with nothing: Ive never seen a notice of apology filed before, said former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti.More at: [link:https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2019/02/roger-stone-apology-instagram-judge-amy-berman-jackson-crosshairs.html?fbclid=IwAR0SwatlSCTn5trdv64Q0oHpDTSghkJIETje4cfIx9OGvV1Dl-vqO2Kn0sA|
Ive been doing federal criminal law for 24 years and Ive never seen anything like this, agreed Ken White, a defense attorney and legal analyst. This is not normal.
Stay tuned for yet more inventive new pleadings from Stones legal team, no doubt including a Notice of Ive Grifted All My Life and Cant Stop Grifting Now, a Motion to Believe Those Crosshairs Were a Smiley Face, a Motion to Turn Back Time to Before I Threatened a Federal Judge Overseeing My Case, and a Cross Motion That Nothing Matters Anyway.

Lots of similarity to militant white supremacists' use of the celtic cross symbol. No surprise. . nt

They had to make something up quick so they did. Now they have to make Stone seem contrite and humble in court. Good luck with that.
