Trump took over $5 million from a likely money-laundering partner of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard

This story's from March. I don't know why the author made it a big deal today. I began a thread in LBN, which will have to be deleted. I'm moving it over here.

Donald Trump’s Worst Deal

The President helped build a hotel in Azerbaijan that appears to be a corrupt operation engineered by oligarchs tied to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

And saw the building, Trump Tower. Supposedly it's now called something else, not Trump Tower. It's in a strange, isolated location. There are so many other, nicer new hotels and residential buildings in Baku that are in prime locations, including a beautiful new hotel that is right on the Caspian Sea. The Trump Tower stinks of some kind of boondoggle or money-laundering scheme. It doesn't appear to be occupied.

I’m curious about Baku. What is it like? Is it a tourist town or more of a business and industry location

Did you speak with anyone about the isolated and vacant tower?
